Panhellenic Council
Greek life comes with great pride. Our women value scholarship, community
service, campus involvement, and social activities. Greek women are held to a high academic
standard. Our sorority women
consistently achieve a GPA above the all-women's grade point average. Community service is another valued area of
Greek life. All of our women raise money
and volunteer their time for charitable causes.
Our chapters combined have raised over $75,000 for various
philanthropies this year. Greek women
are involved on campus in other organizations such as Student Government
association, Union Board, Student Recruiter and much more. The social aspect of sorority life is another
great benefit. Each house has formals,
theme parties, sisterhood events and, “Greek Games” for sporting event.
Panhellenic is looking forward to an exciting year filled
with pleasurable events. Some of the
events include Greek Week, supporting Tech athletics, Fall Formal Recruitment,
Philanthropy events and tons of community involvement, like helping people that
live in the Ruston and Grambling areas for Student Governments Big Event during
Greek Week! Joining a sorority will be
the best decision you will make during your college career.
